About 30 kilometers north of Ioannina you can find the area of Zagoria. There are 45 small viallges. The buildings of the villages are made of stones, which are from this region.

One of the most beautiful villages is Kipi. Until present the buildings were built by the old tradition. The stones don't get their forms until they are worked up.

Unconditionally remarkable is the bridge tu Plakida, which is placed near to Kipi, just below the road to Ioannina.
